Hi! I am Mwesigwa Daniel. Call me Avalanche. Avalanche, the icon.

In a nutshell or two: I am a budding journowhatsit (whatever that means), and I love building things. I am a writer, a hipster in denial, a fierce advocate of tea. And, of course, a blogger.

I love the internet and the internet loves me.

I studied Bsc. Land Economics from Makerere university (class of 2015). On my graduation, my dad asked me what I could do with my degree that a layman couldn’t do. And I told him unless I was going to do valuation surveying, then there was nothing. The right question, however, should have been, “what do people with Land Economics degrees do?” The answer is — everything. Yup, Learned Economics!

Quintessentially explains my mission in life.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. — Robert A. Heinlein, Time Enough For Love.
